Service HoursCommunity Service
If you need hours for school, church, work, NHS, or any other organization, you will need to attend a volunteer orientation. Upon the completion of your hours, a Community Service Hours Request Form must be submitted to the Volunteer Coordinator in advance and a printout of your hours, formal letter, and/or any required paperwork will be signed. If at any time the volunteer does not comply with the SAHS values, they will be dismissed as a volunteer.

Court-Ordered Community Service Hours
All court-ordered community service volunteers are required to attend a volunteer orientation. The Volunteer Coordinator will need to be contacted for approval, and documentation must be provided stating the reasons for the community service order before attending the volunteer orientation. Upon the completion of your hours, a Community Service Hours Request Form must be submitted to the Volunteer Coordinator in advance and a printout of your hours, formal letter, and/or any required paperwork will be signed. If at any time the court-ordered volunteer does not comply with the SAHS values, they will be dismissed as a volunteer.

We cannot accept individuals with felonies or criminal acts concerning alcohol, drugs, violence, theft, child or animal abuse/cruelty, weapons, sex crimes, trespassing, or resisting arrest charges. All other offenses will be judged on a case by case basis.
