When can I come?
Tuesday and Saturday mornings from 9a.m. to 12 p.m. Reservations for Tuesday must be made before noon on Monday, for Saturday before noon Friday.

What will I be doing?
After a quick tour and orientation of the Humane Society, you can assist in any area you are interested in helping! Want to help get our puppies ready for the day? Give a calm and gentle older dog some TLC? What about helping to bathe dogs in our clinic or snuggle up with a fluffy cat? We’ll find the perfect area(s) for you to help.

Is there a cost?
Donations made to the San Antonio Humane Society:
- $10 per person
- FREE 12 years of age and under
- A feeling of success for making a difference…PRICELESS

What does the cost include?
You will receive a Destination Humane T-shirt to wear while volunteering and a certificate with a photo of you and a shelter animal.

How do I sign up?
Visit with the concierge at the Grand Hyatt to make your reservation at the Humane Society. 

Age limit?
You must be at least 18 years old to participate in Destination Humane and all volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent.  Young children are welcomed.  All individuals will sign a release form upon arrival.
